The Amazing Spider-Man Gets 60’s inspired animated series in this artist rendition!

Recently on Twitter, an artist released his concept for a Spider-Man animated series and it looks DOOOOPE.

Sony Animation artist Hethe Srodawa published this thread back in late January. In it, he lays out what would be his concepts for a series about the Wall Crawler set in the 1960s. Attempting to evoke the vibe of the decade from which Spider-Man came. Visually the renders look stunning, even if some of the character designs don’t do it for me.

Sort of a stylized 1960s/1970s vibe. Peter is a poor high school immigrant kid who lives with his aunt. pic.twitter.com/WRt2mVA73Y

Srodawa took it upon himself to change up some of the particulars as well. In his Spider-Man, Peter Parker is a poor high school immigrant kid, living with his aunt. Not sure if that would be an acceptable change, even in this era of diversity.

Colors and tone would be inspired by vintage photography. pic.twitter.com/jOMz1uScJH

You might be wondering, who is Hethe Srodawa? Well, you may already be familiar with many of the projects he has been involved with. According to his website, Srodawa has worked on Red Dead Redemption II, Grand Theft Auto V, Apex Legends and Titanfall. His current projects include this small film called Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse 2.

Like BTAS, the world should feel grounded. Super powered villains need to be balanced with ordinary street criminals and crime bosses. This New York is a seething, decaying, gritty mass of danger and Peter has to figure out how to survive it. What do you think? pic.twitter.com/kdF2VoesRM

You should definitely head over to his website and give his portfolio a look. He is a man of culture for
