For the record I am not a huge fan of Ubisoft. Reason being is because I am primarily a PC gamer and when it comes to PC, Ubisoft has not been very kind to that platform. Piss poor optimization, final product looking nowhere near as good as the demos at E3 presentations. So I will try to be as honest and fair as I can no matter how much I don’t care for this company. So lets begin.
South Park: Fractured but Whole
A new South Park game was announced, no game play just a trailer. If its anything like the last game it will be good.
For Honor
All I could think of was Dynasty Warriors with better graphics and multi-player. The game play didn’t look like much, perhaps its one of those games that you have to play. Overall I wasn’t impressed.
The Crew Wild Run
More DLC for a racer that I felt was lacking in the fun department. From the trailer it looks as if their will be stunt cars, monster trucks, drifting, and other auto focused events to expand on the rather average game play.
Trials Fusion(Awesome Level Max)
Trials is a very good game that i personally have enjoyed. I would liked to see some game play buy instead we got a CGI trailer. Please stop with the trailers.
The Division
Anno 2205
One of the best RTS world building games I have ever played. The 1st game was Anno 2070. Very detailed graphics, good HUD design. If you are into world building games and have not played the 1st one I highly recommend it. Definitely looking forward to this one.
Just Dance 2016
Apparently this game has more of a fan base then I thought. I just don’t care about this game…….at all………really I don’t. Fun for the family sure I guess but if you are considering dancing, just go to a dance school of your choice this game will not get you there. If you just want to make an ass of yourself then have fun. I don’t get how the smartphone is going to play into this or how its going to work. Lets hope its not a disaster.
RainbowSix/Siege
This franchise has always done well. It encourages team play so solo cowboys need not apply. Graphics looked sub-bar but hopefully the game play will be rock solid. Not much else to say, looking forward to this one.
Track Mania Turbo
Finally coming to consoles, its a fun arcade style racer with a lot of creative track design that is only limited by your imagination. Console owners and racing fans should be excited for this one.
Assassins Creed Syndicate
Please go away. This franchise needs some serious time off. They didn’t show any game play, just a glorified trailer. For the record trailers do nothing for me because they can often be miss leading. I’m aware that the game will be playable on the show floor. With that being said Ubisoft has not done much to change the dull combat so I’m not expecting much change as for as game play goes. I will pass on this one just like a passed on the last 6 games in the franchise.
Ghost Recon: Wild lands
Pre-Alpha footage was shown so I’m pretty sure this will not look this good when all is said and done. The last Ghost Recon was not well received, this one seems to be going back to its roots. Hoping for solid game play and maybe the graphics will look as good as the alpha footage……well maybe the PC version.
Not that bad of a press conference. No Rayman game this year? I would like to see Ubisoft learn from their past mistakes. Stop watering down the graphics and having bad optimization. Deliver what you show at the events, take more time to develop your product so you can earn the trust of the consumer back. My overall grade for Ubisoft’s Press conference is a B-
